The Council of Administrators and Supervisors (CAS) will be offering two presentations in April at the Melville Marriott.
The Financial Literacy Workshop is a presentation that educates attendees about retirement plans. Andrew Buttelman will be leading the seminar, and David Daly will be the special guest speaker. The lesson will focus on topics such as filing applications, how to earn after retirement, and verifying salaries. Workshop participants can also learn about tax-deferred investment opportunities. The organizers will provide refreshments for guests at the presentation.
The CAS is a large organization on Long Island that consists of school administrators and supervisors. Members of the CAS are also automatically given membership to the Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association. Those in the group have access to several benefits, such as receiving free consultations and legal advice, reduced legal service rates, and assistance with preparing negotiation packages. Professional organizations similar to this may send Corporate Gifts to incoming members to give them a positive impression of the group.
The Financial Literacy Workshop led by Andrew Buttelman will be held on Wednesday, April 13 and Thursday, April 14 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The organizer for both programs is Demetria Marino. There will be no price for people to see the workshop, and registering for the presentation is not mandatory. The program is intended for members of the CAS.
