Henry Schein, headquartered in Melville, was recently named by the Ethisphere Institute as a 2015 World’s Most Ethical Company for the fourth consecutive year.
According to the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Stanley M. Bergman, it is an honor to be recognized once again by Ethisphere and shows how the company has been successful in implementing business standards worldwide, and how these have been of value in the long term to its customers, suppliers, investors, and society. He adds that Henry Schein has held a commitment for over 80 years to having exceptional ethical standards and business practices, which has made the company successful.
Timothy Erblich, Chief Executive Officer for Ethisphere, said that the World’s Most Ethical Companies are those that foster a culture of ethics at every level of their company, which has had a material impact on the way they conduct their business. He notes that ethics is not just an outward appearance but the actions of the company’s workforce as a whole from the top down.
Henry Schein, which provides healthcare services and products to medical, animal health, and dental practitioners working in offices, was the only honoree in the healthcare products category and one of only 132 companies honored this year.
The company may be turning to various printing services to inform its customers and other constituents of this recognition.
