The Long Island Association (LIA) Economic & Infrastructure Development Committee will be holding a meeting this February at the LIA Headquarters in Melville.
Members of the LIA are invited to attend a discussion that will feature Marie Therese Dominguez as a special guest. Dominguez is the current Commissioner of the New York State Department of Transportation (DOT). She will be giving a presentation that will inform attendees about the DOT Capital Plan, while also sharing information about how New York intends on funding road, highway, and bridge projects on Long Island.
Those who are planning on attending the meeting can arrive before the presentation to network with other LIA members. People can use business card printing to create personalized cards to exchange with new contacts. There will also be a question and answer session with Dominguez that will be held after she is finished with the meeting.
The Economic Development & Infrastructure Committee will be meeting on February 13 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Those who are part of the LIA can attend the presentation for free. Seating is limited, so members should register for the event in advance. Anybody interested in becoming a member can apply on the organization’s website. The benefits of being part of the LIA include having access to numerous networking opportunities, strategic committees, and affinity programs.
