The Melville Chamber of Commerce will host a gala in November to help raise money for the Habitat for Humanity.
The Habitat Long Island Gratitude Gala is a program where people can enjoy a night of entertainment while supporting a local cause. The experience includes a sit-down dinner, cocktail hour, and multiple raffles. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by The Dance Mechanics and Bob Nelson. The Dance Mechanics is a cover band with a horn section and rhythm section that plays funk music, and Bob Nelson is a comedian who has opened for Rodney Dangerfield.
Companies can support the Habitat for Humanity and improve their visibility at the event by becoming sponsors. The tiers cost between $2,000 and $30,000. Businesses will receive benefits like having their logos featured on centerpieces, journal advertisements, and tickets to the gala. Organizations that donate $5,000 or more will get to have building experiences where their staff members can volunteer at a Habitat for Humanity construction site.
The gratitude gala will be held at the Melville Marriott on Thursday, November 7th from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The cocktail hour at the event will last from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Individual tickets to the experience will cost $200 per guest. Business organizations that coordinate similar galas to this may use Corporate Gifts to thank the companies that become event sponsors.
