The Spartans Basketball League in Melville will kick off its 2023 season and training sessions in January.
Youth and adults interested in playing basketball during the winter can join the Spartans Basketball League. The organization offers intramural games for students in the 3rd to 12th grades and has a separate Adult and College Division for those 18 and up. Both divisions include seven games and a playoff tournament, and the matches will have five players on the court. Kids who are in Pre-K to the 2nd grade can take part in weekly clinics conducted by professional trainers.
The Spartans Basketball League is a group that wanted to provide athletes with year-round access to friendly competitions and expert coaches. The games and practice sessions held by the league take place in climate-controlled facilities. Those who participate in the league’s matches are required to wear athletic footwear with non-marking soles, and members of the same team are expected to wear T-Shirts with matching colors.
The winter season of the basketball league will begin on the week of January 3. All games in the league will occur in the Melville/Huntington area, and all programs are played at HHH School District Gymnasiums or Next Level Sports. Jerseys will be provided to participants during their first clinic, practice, or game. Sports organizations in charge of leagues like this can use banner printing to promote their matches outdoors.
