Melville association to organize fireside chat

The Hauppauge Industrial Association will be holding an educational event in February at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington in Melville.

The HIA-LI Executive Insight Fireside Chat is a program where attendees can listen to a discussion between experienced CEOs. Clare Cusack, the President of the New York Bankers Association, will be chatting with moderator Kevin O'Connor, who is the CEO of Dime Bank. Cusack is the first female CEO of the New York Bankers Association, and O'Connor is a member of the HIA-LI board. There will also be lite bites served to attendees during the conversation.

HIA-LI is an organization made up of thousands of professionals. The association puts together many annual events, such as the HIA-LI's 13th Annual Energy Conference, HIA-LI Virtual Job Fair, and HIA-LI's Those Who Make a Difference Celebration. The organization is also dedicated to several initiatives in areas like healthcare, manufacturing revitalization, and workforce development. Associations similar to this can promote their causes and events using poster printing.

The fireside chat will be held on Tuesday, February 8th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The cost to attend the discussion will be $35 per person. Companies interested in sponsoring the event may contact Anthony Forgione by calling (631) 543-5355 or emailing him at aforgione@hia-li.org. People can read more about HIA-LI by visiting the association's website.
