The Half Hollow Hills Community Library in Melville will be holding a cooking course in April presented by Block Island Seafood, Inc.
Get Rich Dishes is a virtual program offered by the library where fans of savory meals can learn to cook by following a demonstration. The course will teach people how to create clam chowder and lobster mac and cheese. Recipes for both dishes can be found on the library’s website, allowing participants to view the required ingredients in advance. The broadcast will be held on Facebook and will be available to view after the event date.
Block Island Seafood, Inc. is a company formed in 2007 that caters to events and private dinners while also offering live cooking demonstrations to the public. Past lessons taught by the business include how to create ravioli with lobster, fish tacos, and scallops oreganata. The catering menu consists of seafood dishes like lobster rolls, citrus grilled shrimp, and baked lemon cod. Businesses such as this can market their services to potential clients using brochure printing.
The cooking lesson will be held on Monday, April 5th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The event is intended for adults. There is no need to pre-register for the broadcast, and the demonstration will be free to view for the public. People can find other recipes from Block Island Seafood, Inc. by visiting the company’s website.
