Henry Schein, Inc., with headquarters in Melville, was recently given the Corporate Leader Award of the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds at the One Camp Community Celebration.
Held every year, the event is sponsored by President of the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds, David Katz.
Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds is one of the agencies of UJA-Federation of New York and operates 16 day camps in the greater New York area. As a company that provides healthcare products and services to dentists, animal health, and medical practitioners working out of individual offices, Henry Schein was recognized for its donation of oral health care products that will be used in thousands of personal health kits. These will be given to close to 3,600 needy children, from kindergarten through grade 12, on Long Island.
This is part of the Supplies for Success program of the UJA-Federation of New York and the kits will be made by campers at the Campgrounds and will be added to book Bags, along with age-appropriate school supplies.
Senior Vice President of Corporate and Legal Affairs, Michael S. Ettinger, who accepted the award on behalf of the company, commented that the company is committed to community outreach and always endeavors to care for underserved populations, which is one of the pillars of the Henry Schein Cares Foundation. The announcement of this award may be added to a flyer about the organization’s activities to “help health happen” created by a flyer printing company.Get a Free Quote for Bags
