Discover iconic Broadway shows during Melville program

The Half Hollow Hills Community Library in Melville will be holding a virtual program in February discussing notable Broadway performances.

The Most Iconic Broadway Shows activity is a virtual event where guests can hear about noteworthy shows from a professional theatre critic. The library has invited Hap Erstein to discuss which Broadway shows he has reviewed are the most iconic. Erstein will also be playing clips from the performances during the presentation. The activity will be held over a Zoom call and is intended for adults to watch.

Erstein is a member of the Southeastern Film Critics Association and has been featured on radio programs and The Palm Beach Post newspaper. Erstein also helped start the Palm Beach ArtsPaper. He has won multiple national and local awards and has even been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in Criticism. His work has also been seen in The Washington Times. The virtual lecture will be held on Wednesday, February 10 from 10:15 am to 11:30 am. There is no cost to attend Erstein’s presentation, though all viewers must register for the meeting in advance.
