Three new large format printers have recently been announced by Canon U.S.A., Inc., based in Melville.
They are all of the imagePROGRAF brand of products and include the 24-inch iPF670, the 36-inch iPF770 printers, and the iPF770 MFP M40 with a scan-to Print, file, or share system that can be used by small businesses for technical documents, poster printing, company announcements, and drawings.
Industries such as engineering and construction, architecture, education, and small retail can benefit from these new printers, says Canon in a press release. Such features as an Economy Print Mode enable small businesses to monitor their costs and expenses on consumables such as ink and media. In addition, the printers have a small footprint; they can be installed flush with a wall and provide full operation from the front.
David Sweetnam of Buyer's Laboratory Inc. commented that these printers are ideal for engineering and technical design professionals, and small businesses that want high quality printing along with top speeds. Other features include the ability to print from mobile devices, consistent quality of print across various paper types, and the ability to store and print files from the cloud.
The iPF770 MFP M40 has additional capabilities of scanning to files, a printer of for sharing. It includes a scanner, a stand-alone computer, software, touchscreen monitor, and its own stand.Get a Free Quote for Print
