Canon opens two new customer support centers

Canon U.S.A. Inc., with headquarters in Melville, has recently opened two new operation centers for customer support and service.

The new introductions are Canon Information Technologies Services, Inc., which is a center for customer calls, and the Canon Experience Center. The latter opened November 5, while the former got up and running November 6.

The Canon Experience Center in Costa Mesa is nearly 40,000 square feet in size and is a revamp of an existing facility the company owned. It provides a place where associates can meet face-to-face with Canon representatives. The building also includes an educational center, as well as a theater for 35 people at which events will be held for Canon Live Learning, Explorers of Light, and Canon Professional Services. A showroom, measuring 5,000 square feet in size, showcases Canon products.

There will be approximately 75 employees in the Canon Experience Center when it is fully staffed, and they will most likely need business card printing once they are hired.

The new Canon Information Technologies Services call center in Albuquerque covers an area of more than 33,000 square feet and provides support for the company’s printing, cinema, photographic, and office solutions customers. By next year, it will also support customers using consumer imaging and small business products, such as large format printers and copiers, camcorders, and digital cameras.
