Melville will become the home for a new branch of the Astoria Bank as part of its expansion efforts for the next two years.
According to Monte Redman, President and CEO of Astoria Bank, Melville is a major hub for businesses on Long Island, so having a branch there gives the bank prime visibility. He adds that it will be convenient for businesses and will be able to attract new and existing customers in the area, enabling the bank to showcase its individualized approach and locally based decision-making processes.
Craig Levy will manage the branch. He has over 20 years of experience in banking and knowledge of the local market, having been involved in banking in Melville since 2008. Levy commented that he is looking forward to this opportunity to work with business customers, understand their needs, and find solutions to their financial scenarios.
Most likely, the branch is turning to several printing services to create Flyers and mailers so that new and existing customers become aware of the new branch and its services. With this addition, Astoria Bank has 87 locations in Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties, and opened its first branch in Manhattan in March 2014.
The scheduled opening of the Melville branch, located one quarter mile south of the Long Island Expressway on the Route 110 corridor, is December 1, 2014.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
