Rosamond Gifford Zoo is readying for its Holiday Nights coming in early December. This will be an after-hours leisurely walk through the zoo’s winter wonderland of holiday lights.
Liverpool guests may warm themselves by the fire pits, indulge in s’mores and hot chocolate, listen to live holiday music, and view animal exhibits.
From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Santa will be available in the Courtyard Gazebo, and there will be a Holiday Market. The Courtyard will offer atmospheric entertainment during half-hour intervals throughout the evening. Holiday Carolers will be performing from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm and again from 7:15 pm to 7:45 pm. The Ice Farm in the Northwestern Mutual Animal Encounter will hold ice carving demonstrations from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
The zoo is currently looking for local businesses and artisans for its Holiday Market, as well as choirs, carol singers, and sponsors.
Sponsorship levels available include entertainment ($1,500), animal greeter ($1,500), ice carving demonstration ($2,500), hot chocolate ($5,000), light display ($5,000), s’more ($5,000), and Santa stations ($7,500). The zoo will also appreciate in-kind sponsorships. Each level will include the sponsor’s Logo Design on the Holiday Nights website and other materials.
Holiday Nights will be Friday and Saturdays, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, on the first three weekends of December at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, 1 Conservation Place, Syracuse.
