Runners and walkers will gather in Liverpool this summer for the eighth edition of the Chocolate Challenge, a fundraising event supporting medical research and community education related to arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and rare diseases.
Organized to benefit Kelleigh’s Cause, the annual event combines fitness, philanthropy and family-friendly participation.
Participants may choose from several race options, including a 5K run, a 10K run, a 5K walk, and virtual alternatives for those unable to attend in person. All proceeds will benefit Kelleigh’s Cause.
Each registered participant will receive a commemorative event shirt, a finisher’s medal and chocolate treats following completion of their selected distance. Funds raised through the event will also support educational outreach programs for families and healthcare professionals through the organization’s efforts.
Registration options include a 5K Walk for $32.80, a 5K Run for $38.10, and a 10K Run for $48.70. Virtual participation is also available through a Virtual 5K Run/Walk for $32.80, and a Virtual 10K for $32.80.
Organizers often use printing services to create race bibs, Banners, and participant information packets.
The 8th Annual Chocolate Challenge will take place on Saturday, July 25, at Long Branch Park, 3813 Long Branch Road, Liverpool, New York. The 10K begins at 8:00 AM, the 5K Run starts at 8:05 AM, and the 5K Walk begins at 8:10 AM, with activities continuing through 11:00 AM.
