Cupids Chase returns to Liverpool

The race event titled Cupid’s Chase 5K will take place at Onondaga Lake Park this February.

Arranged by Community Options, Inc., the annual run brings together athletes, families, and casual participants to raise funds benefiting individuals with disabilities.

The event is designed to be welcoming to a wide range of participants, from competitive runners to walkers attending for the cause. The course is officially certified and professionally timed, with results published immediately following the race. Accessibility is a key focus, and leashed pets are permitted, allowing broader community participation.

Awards will recognize performance across multiple categories. Trophies are ready for the top three overall finishers in both male and female categories. Medals for each age group will be distributed across 14 divisions, ranging from youth competitors to participants aged 70 and older. All registered runners will receive a drawstring bag while supplies last and a finisher's medal.

Race attire involves selecting white or red shirts to reflect relationship statuses.

General admission registration is priced at $49.87, which includes a $4.87 processing fee. All entries are final, and the race will proceed regardless of weather conditions. Professional banner printing may be used throughout the race area to guide participants.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 14. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m., and the race will start at 10:00 a.m., at Onondaga Lake Park, 106 Lake Dr, Liverpool, New York.
