Everson Museum of Art will be celebrating the holidays with its 35th Annual Festival of Trees and Light scheduled to begin in a couple of weeks.
The museum will be teeming with wreaths, decorated trees, and other holiday ornamentation. Musical performances will be held in the sculpture court. Visitors are invited to view the museum’s holiday finery from November 27 through December 5 during its regular hours – Thursdays from noon until 8:00 pm, and Fridays through Sundays from noon until 5:00 pm.
The New Online Auction will also be in progress during that time. Fine art, experience packages, handcrafted gifts, jewelry, and holiday décor will be available.
Online viewers are welcome to peruse the items for free, while bidding privileges costs $10 and premium tickets cost $100. Those here in Liverpool who opt for the $10 tickets will also be entered in the CNY Shopping Spree raffle.
Swag Bags for patrons of the premium $100 tickets will be delivered to their doors. These tickets, along with bidding on the online auction items, include inclusion in the CNY Shopping Spree raffle and admission to the Everson Museum during the event.
On December 5 at 6:00 pm, the Virtual Festival Finale Event will broadcast the final bidding, live performances, pop-up videos, and prize drawings.
Patrons also have the option of purchasing merchandise featuring the event’s graphic design and logo in the museum’s gift shop. Everson Museum of Art is located at 401 Harrison St., Syracuse.
