Virtual racing is becoming more available as people here in Liverpool work to keep complying with distancing rules and regulations.
This type of running event allows runners to participate at their own pace, locations (gyms, living rooms, and treadmills) and times. Moon Joggers has a few such races online.
One race is the 2020 Upside Down 1M, 5K, 10k and 26.2-Syracuse. The race can be completed anytime this year. The $22 registration will include bib, medal and shipping. In total, 15% of every entry will go to Operation Underground Railroad, and organization dedicated to rescuing kids involved in sex trafficking. Registration dates will be from Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 pm until Sunday, May 31 at 9:00 pm.
A 2020 Be Kind to Your Mind 1M, 5K, 13.1M and 26.2 M will dedicate 15% of entry fees to Mental Health America. This virtual race will have registration from Tuesday May 5 starting at 7:00 pm until Sunday, May 31 at 9:00 pm. Runners choose the distance they wish to run at registration. Each participation medal will sport the glittery purple, blue, white and gray event Logo Design.
A 2020 Happy Hug Day 1M, 5K, 10K, 13.1M, and 26.2M will have registration from Saturday, May 16 through Sunday, May 31st at 9:00 pm. Registration will include a little Happy Hug Day cactus graphic design. Part of the proceeds will go to the HUGS Foundation, Inc., which gives free medical care to children with facial deformities.
