The 32nd Festival of Trees presented by the Everson Museum of Art Members’ Council will be coming early in December. This event will run for 10 days.
Donated decorated Christmas trees, displays, decorations, and wreaths will be available for purchase. All proceeds will go to benefit the museum. Local dancers, performers and musicians will be entertaining daily.
A Preview Gala will begin the holiday season. Liverpool guests will get the first opportunity to view and buy the Christmas items before they become available to the public. Hors d’oeuvres and complementary beverages will be at tasting stations.
Festival of Trees First Friday will include a chocolate tasting, snacks, and holiday shopping. Guests can get their Holiday Cards in the Museum shop. Visitors are invited to bring their own holiday records – LPS or 45s – to share their favorite holiday tunes.
Santa will be arriving at the event on Santa Saturday. Not only can children meet and greet Santa, they can visit his workshop to enjoy milk and holiday cookies, and decorate ornaments.
The Festival of Trees will be from December 1 to 10 at the Everson Museum, 401 Harrison Street, Syracuse during regular museum hours. The Preview Gala will be November 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Festival of Trees First Friday will be December 1 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, and Santa Saturday will be December 9 from noon until 4:00 pm.
