Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce May schedule offers a mixed array of events from gardening, a bowl-a-thon, virtual 5k to lunches, breakfasts and Mother’s Day Brunch.
Liverpool American Legion, 205 Cypress Street, will begin the month with a spaghetti and meatball Hump Day Lunch on May 4th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The public is invited, and the meal will cost $7.
On Saturday, the 7th, Liverpool Community Gardeners will have a Dig It…With the Arts event in Johnson Park from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Vendors will be offering plants and plant-related items and Power of Two will present live music from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
On Mother's Day, May 8th, Liverpool Elks Lodge, 3730 Cold Springs Road, Baldwinsville, will have a full buffet breakfast, and the Rosamond Gifford Zoo will hold a “Mother’s Day Brunch and the Zoo” with seating at 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Cicero Plank Road Chamber will hold a Bowl-A-thon for Canteen on Thursday the 12th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Flamingo Bowl, 7239 Oswego Road. Tickets are $100 per three-person team and include shoe rental, three games, pizza and soda.
A virtual 5K Hope for Heather: Teal Ribbon Walk/Run for Ovarian Cancer awareness is scheduled for Saturday the 14th to the 21st. There will also be a walk-and-talk 3K. The in-person run will be May 14th at Lewis Park, Minoa. Swag will include T-Shirts sporting the event Logo Design.
