For Halloween, Liverpool residents Al and Kathy Dombroski will be turning their home and yard into their annual Raven Haven toward the end of the month. Over 1,800 guests attended last year.
The Dombroskis, friends, and volunteers have been working all year long to create a family-friendly walk through a haunted yard, and a little less friendly haunted building. The building will be filled with a cast of ghouls who will work their terrifying magic to make the event memorable. The outside walk will have static walkthrough displays depicting Halloween themes from dinosaurs, screaming walking dead to giant dragons, terrifying clowns, and skeletons rising from a coffin. New this year will be face painting available to those standing at the front of the line.
This haunted house is a nonprofit all volunteer project. In 2015, Raven Haven was voted best residential home haunted attraction by Scarycuse.com.
Any donations will go to Raven House for its renovation expenses and new displays. Monetary Corporate Gifts and local business sponsorships would be appreciated.
Raven Haven will be haunting the Bear Villa neighborhood at 7475 Thunderbird Road on Fridays and Saturdays of the last two weekends in October (19th and 20th, 26th and 27th), and Halloween night October 31st. The free attraction will stay open on all these dates until everyone gets a chance to walk through.
