For those needing a good reason to eat pasta, The Arc of Onondaga Foundation will be holding its annual Pasta for a Purpose On the Go this year. Arc of Onondaga is a local service provider for those with developmental disabilities.

From 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm, ticket holders can pick up one of five pasta entrees, including spaghetti and meatballs, vegetarian lasagne, fettuccine alfredo, and gluten-free penne marinara. All dinners will come with house salads, Italian dressing, and Wegman’s Italian cookies.

Pasta for a Purpose will be June 3, at Drumlins Country Club, 800 Nottingham Road, Syracuse.

On Friday, June 4, the Charity for Children Annual Golf Outing will take place from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.

Refreshments and onsite registration will take place from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. The tournament will tee off with a shotgun start at 11:00 am. Live music, dinner, and an awards program will begin at 5:00 pm.

Tickets are $125 per individual and can be purchased online.
