Liverpool runs the Cupids Chase 5k

Community Options, Inc. will be holding its 16th annual Cupid’s Chase 5k Liverpool in mid-February.

Event shirts sporting this year’s graphic design will be available while supplies last. All runners and walkers will receive Cupid’s Chase drawstring Bags, as well as medals at the finish line. The 3.15-mile course will run along the northwest shoreline of Onondaga Lake.

The top three female and male overall finishers will receive trophies, and the first-place finishers in each of 13 age categories will get age group medals.

Entrants may opt to run as individuals, join existing teams, or create their own teams. This will be a fundraising event to support those with disabilities, and the two teams raising the most money will get Nike gear worth $1,000.

Check-in will begin at 10:00 am on race day, with the race following at 11:00 am. Since this will be a rain-or-shine event, participants are encouraged to dress accordingly.

Exhibitor tables can be purchased for $500, and Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum sponsorship levels from $1,500 to $10,000 are also available.

Often, a local businessperson becomes an exhibitor or sponsor supporting a fundraising event like this to give their company Logo Design community exposure.

Cupid’s Chase 5k Liverpool will take place Saturday, February 10 at Onondaga Lake Park, 106 Lake Drive. Tickets are $45 up until the day before the event.
