Runners here in the Liverpool area are invited to run the Chocolate Challenge 3.1 coming two days in late July. Chocolate milk, ice cream, fudge, candy, cake and cookies will be waiting for the in-person participants as they cross the finish line.
A Dog Walk will take place on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 pm. Registration will be $10. The 5k Run will begin on Saturday morning at 8:00 am with at $35 registration fee; the 10k Run will begin at 8:15 am for $45 and the 5k Walk will start at 8:30 am and cost $25. After the races there will be a free Unicycle Fun ride.
There will also be Virtual 5k and 10k run options. Each of these cost $30 and can be run anytime in July.
Along with the chocolate, all participants will receive medals and Chocolate Challenge race shirts sporting this year’s Logo Design.
DJ Bill T will provide music for the after party and Limp Lizard Catering will provide food for purchase.
Proceeds from the event will go to Kelleigh’s Cause, an organization that raises funds for rare diseases and Arteriovenous Malformations.
Packet pickup will be at the park from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday and from 6:30 am until 7:45 on race day.
2021 Chocolate Challenge 3.1 will take place Friday July 23rd and Saturday, July 24th at Long Branch Park, 3813 Long Branch Road.
