The CNY Pop Festival is just around the corner in August. Liverpool fans will get a chance to meet their Syracuse basketball and football idols, as well as some movie and TV actors.
Nine Syracuse basketballers – including Roosevelt Bouie, Jr, Dennis Duval, Howard Triche, Baye Moussa Keita and Dale Shackleford – and two football stars – Kyle McIntosh and Robert Drummond – will be on hand for handshakes, autographs and photo ops.
Six movie and TV stars will include Mark Dodson from Gremlins, Jeff Parazzo and Kevin Dulhaney from Power Rangers, Michelle Harrison of Momma Flash, and Felix Silla, who played Cousin Itt in the television series the Addams Family.
Local businesses will also be there distributing Business Cards and Promotional Products. Local food trucks will be on hand hawking summer treats.
Tickets range from $10 to $30. The $30 VIP tickets include admission to the event an hour early, which will allow the guests to meet their superheroes and talk with them before the general public is admitted. They will also receive festival swag Bags and T-Shirts sporting the festival’s Logo Design. Children under six will get in free.
The CNY Pop Festival is slated for Sunday, August 12 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm at the CYN Regional Market F Shed, 2100 Park Street, Syracuse.
