Liverpool looks forward to seasonal lights

The 30th Lights on the Lake at 6750 Onondaga Lake Trail will be opening in mid-November. This will again be a two-mile drive through a lights display.

The show will feature towering holiday displays, a colorful section of arches, and animated scenes. Along the route, vehicles will pass through a Twinkling Fantasy Forest and a giant Land of Oz. The North Pole Station will be a railroad stop with a Santa steam engine driven by an animated elf. The Grand Finale will be Fairytale Magic. From opening day until New Year’s Eve, visitors can listen to Sunny 102 play songs of the season as they drive through the presentation.

On Tuesday, November 12 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm visitors can get a close-up preview of the show by going on a pre-show stroll on the lake. Refreshments will be available for purchase and holiday characters will be along the trail.

The next night, Wednesday, dog owners can bring their dog pals on the Lights on the Lake Dog Walk. The trail will also have the holiday characters and there will be refreshments on sale for both owners and dogs.

Opening night, November 14, from 5:00 until 10:00 pm will be Salute the Troops Night.
