The Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Clay Recreation and local businesses will be combining forces to bring the sixth annual Discover Clay and Liverpool, a free community event. It will be a day of educational activities and fun for the whole community.
Checkers the clown will be bringing his Checkers Show to entertain the children. Checkers will be juggling, performing magic tricks, and delighting the kids with giant balloons.
Kids will also get their own fun zone, which will have carnival games, face painting, a slide, inflatable bounce houses, and balloon animals.
There will also be a Kids’ Talent Show, live music, and food vendors. The local Fire Department will once again be displaying its fire safety equipment and fire truck. The Sheriff’s Department will fingerprint the little ones.
Representatives from local businesses and nonprofits will be passing out Flyers and Brochures describing their goods, services, and programs. Some businesses may be handing out discount coupons and Promotional Products as well as they look to make the most of the opportunity.
The event will be held in Clay Central Park, 4821 Wetzel Road in Clay from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm this Saturday, July 22. The parkland has 190 acres, so guests will want to be sure use the Wetzel Road entrance.
