Many Liverpool revelers will be heading to Syracuse for New Year’s celebrations.
The 2018 New Year’s Party on the Plaza will have two music groups which will alternate during the evening. One will be Syracuse native, southern rock Just Joe. The singer songwriter, whose real name is Joe Altier, performs everything from classical and country, to heavy metal and rock. He covers groups such as ABBA, AC/DC, and Aerosmith. His fans may wish to buy some Promotional Products such as hats, records, and T-Shirts from his website.
The other will be Country Swagg- a four-man band composed of drums, bass, lead guitar, and acoustic guitar. The venue will also have an open beverage bar and Hors d’oeuvres, meat carving, dips, sides and dessert stations. There will also be a late night snack buffet.
The Marriott Syracuse Downtown will also be having a New Year’s fete. Music entertainment will be by the Stan Colella Orchestra, Prime Time and the Atlas Band. There will also be photo booths, gaming tables, CirqOvation, cocktail hour, buffet dinner, open bar, late night snacks, and champagne at midnight.
Party at the Plaza will be at the Crowne Plaza Syracuse, 701 East Genesee Street, Syracuse. Doors open at 7:30 New Year’s Eve and close at 1:00 am on January 1.
The Marriott is at 100 East Onondaga Street, Syracuse, and the party will be from 7:30 pm from December 31 until just after midnight.
