Symphoria will soon be presenting Arts for All, which is a day of family-oriented activities to connect families with the area’s local arts organizations.
The event will end with a concert featuring Symphoria and Cirqovation. Hundreds of families from Liverpool and the surrounding area are expected to attend.
Local art organizations will be on hand with classes, performances, exhibitions and other activities that will introduce families to their programs. Members of each organization will be passing out Flyers and Brochures with information such as address, hours of classes and operation, and fees.
Before the evening’s main performance acrobats, jugglers, comedians, aerial artists and other members of CirqOvation will be mingling with guests and entertaining the little ones.
The concert begin with the Entrance of the Gladiators March by Fucik, followed by Harry Potter and Sorcerer’s Stone's ‘Harry’s Wonderous World’ by Williams. Pierne’s Entrance of the Little Fauns and Williams’ Cantina Band will be presented next. Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from Sleeping Beauty will close the first segment of the performance.
During intermission, there will be Chamber Music on the Stage.
The second segment will begin with Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance which will be followed by Mother Goose: Fairy Garden by Ravel and Orpheus in the Underworld’s Galop (Can Can) by Offenbach. The evening will end with the Candide Overture by Bernstein.
Art for All will be January 20 at the New York State Fairgrounds, 581 State Fair Blvd. Syracuse, with the main performance beginning at 7:00 pm.
