Liverpool celebrates the season with trivia

“A Christmas Story Trivia Night” will take place in Liverpool this December.

This trivia night is devoted to iconic films and promises competitive fun, themed costumes, and exciting prizes for top teams.

During the event, trivia enthusiasts will compete in five rounds of increasingly challenging questions. Categories will include true or false, multiple-choice, and fill-in-the-blank. First-place winners will receive $500, while the second-place winners will receive $250. An additional $100 prize will be awarded to the best-dressed team inspired by a Christmas story.

A real-time scoreboard will track teams’ scores throughout the event, with updates at each round's end. If a tie occurs, a fast-paced lightning round will be used to determine the winning team.

Rules for the evening include no shouting out answers, no phones, and no altering responses after the timer runs out. All answers should be legibly written, with judges able to discern answers from teams’ writing.

Teams, limited to four members, can register for $100 per group. Each group will get a dry-erase marker and board to display answers. Attendees should note that all ticket sales are final and can be purchased through the event listing.

This event will take place on Monday, December 18 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Sharkey’s, under the Burritt Motors Pavilion, 7240 Oswego Road, Liverpool.
