Many Liverpool runners and revelers will be heading to Syracuse to attend the 1st annual Syracuse Inner Harbor Fest and Inner Harbor 5k coming at the end of September.
The Inner Harbor 5k will benefit the Childhood and Family, Inc. Registration for the 5k will be $40 for the in-person event and $35 for the virtual run, and free for those participating in the 2k Peace Run for Brexi. Swag will include racing shirts sporting the Harbor Fest blue fish graphic design.
On September 30, runners may pick up their packets at Fleet Feet Syracuse, 5800 Bridge Street from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. On Race Day, Sunday, October 1, Race Packets will be available beginning at 8:00 am at Freight House, 425 Solar Street. The 2k Peace Run for Brexi will begin at 9:00 am followed by the 5k at 9:30 am.
The race will occur during the three-day Syracuse Inner Harbor Fest. The fun will include carnival rides, games, food trucks, craft vendors, and live musical entertainment. On the Friday evening, there will be a Dragon Boat Eye Doting Ceremony and Fireworks over the Harbor. The next morning, Saturday, the harbor will be buzzing with 22 boats competing in Dragon Boat Races.
Syracuse Inner Harbor Fest will take place Friday, September 29 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Saturday, September 30 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday, October 1st from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
