In just a few days, Festa Italiana Syracuse will be in full swing.
The three-day event will be an annual celebration of all things Italian put on by Festa Italiana Inc. a 501-ca3 non-profit organization that originates in Liverpool. The three days will be full of competitions, live entertainment, and food from more than 15 vendors.
The children’s tent will have face painting and entertainment from Scooch, Jeff the Magic Man, Silver Knight, Clown around Clowns, and Otto the Orange.
The 2nd annual Biscotti Contest will have amateur bakers’ competing for the $100 first prize. Each of 20 contestants will submit five homemade biscotti that will be judged by a panel for taste, texture, and appearance.
This will be the 19th year for the Annual Bocce. First prize will be $200, second will be $160, and third will be $100.
Multiple stages will have over 20 acts during the three days. These performances will be dancers, bands, and instrumental and singing soloists. Fans may want to see if these performers have any Promotional Products for purchase.
The Festa will begin this Friday, September 16 on the Syracuse City Hall steps, 201 E. Washington Street, Syracuse at 11:00 am. A bocce challenge will take place on Friday beginning at 5:00 pm. The Bocce Tournament will be on Saturday and will begin at 9:00 am. The event will close on Sunday.
