Many Liverpool golfing aficionados will be heading to nearby links for three charity golf tournaments coming in August.
On Point for College will hold its 14th Annual On Point for College Golf For Grads Tournament on August 4. Proceeds will go to helping first-generation students succeed and enroll in college. Tee times will be staggered from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and assigned to foursomes upon registration. Tickets include lunch and dinner.
Single admission is $200. Skins and Mulligans are $20 extra a piece. Cart, ball, beverage, and flag sponsorships ($2,500 each) come with the sponsor’s Logo Design on carts, balls, beverage stations, and hole flags respectively.
Later in the month, The Willow Street Foundation will hold its 9th annual golf tournament on Friday, August 21 from 9:30 am until 6:30 pm at Links at Erie Village, 5904 North Burdick Street, East Syracuse. This tournament will include a steak dinner, drinks, and 18 holes of golf. Shotgun start will be at 10:00 am with dinner and cocktails at 4:00 pm and awards and auction at 5:00 pm. All proceeds will go to education and support of area disadvantaged children.
Also on August 21 is the Charity for Children 15th Annual Golf Outing. This tournament will be held in Baldwinsville starting at 9:30 am. The shotgun start will be at 11:00 am at Foxfire Golf Course, 1 Village Boulevard, and live music, awards, and dinner will begin at 5:00 pm.
