Skating class to teach fundamentals and tricks
As soon as 2021 begins, Skaterobics will offer a chance to learn how to skate on rollerblades. The class will be available to those living in Valley Steam, and nearby areas like Hewlett and Inglewood.
The class is aimed at both beginners and advanced skaters. For beginners, instructors will teach the basics of skating with rollerblades. Entrants will learn how to maintain balance and control while skating. More experienced participants will learn how to do pivots, spins, and other more advanced tricks. Skaterobics also has a shop where entrants can purchase shirts with the company’s logo design.
The event will be open to anyone over the age of 18, and participants must purchase a ticket before the event. There are limited spots for the class, so entrants are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. Those without skates can also rent at the event for an extra cost. Organizers are allowing entrants to RSVP for skate rentals; those interested can email info@skaterobics.com and put “skate size” in their subject.
Skaterobics asks participants to bring face masks. Temperatures will also be checked when participants enter the facility.
The event will take place on January 1 between 8:30 PM and 10:00 PM. Tickets can be bought online for $20. The class will be offered every Friday if participants want to continue to learn how to skate.
