Hewlett kids kick off holiday campaign

Santa is getting ready for his yearly visit, and Hewlett kids who would like to send him a special letter can do so at a venue close to home.

Children are invited to attend the kick-off party for the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library’s Letters to Santa Campaign, which can accommodate up to 50 guests. Registration is optional, and if required, a waitlist will be created.

The venue's Children’s Room will be decorated for the occasion, and there will be materials provided so the kids who attend can write a letter to Santa to send. Holiday coloring sheets and craft kits will be distributed, and each child will also receive a ticket for raffle draw. By encouraging kids to each pen a letter, the function promotes literacy.

Libraries are often community hubs, hosting a variety of special events and other activities all year round. A professional banner printing company can supply a range of options for custom decor with both single-use and reusable styles on offer.

The Henry Waldinger Memorial Library in Valley Stream will kick off its Letters to Santa Campaign on Friday, November 28th. It will open at 10:00 am and run right through until 8:00 pm, and anyone who would like to add their child’s name to the registration list can do so through the venue's website.
