A day of fun in the sun has been organized by the Defense Association of New York (DANY) and the activities on the agenda for this Hewlett area event offer something for everyone.
The organization has scheduled its annual outing, and golf, pickleball, and tennis are all on the schedule. Relaxing on the beach is also on the agenda, and space at the Inwood Country Club and Inwood Beach Club has been reserved for the activity.
These special events have proved so successful in previous years that DANY decided to bring them back for 2026. Both golfers and non-golfers can enjoy the camaraderie and chances to make connections, and the friendly competition will welcome players at all skill levels. Breakfast and a cocktail and dinner reception are in the works, along with lunch options. Those who are interested can choose the ticket package that best suits their interests and agenda.
Golf and other outdoor summer fundraisers and mixers take advantage of the pleasant weather, and organizers often choose to utilize sunshades and other tenting. These can be crafted by a printing services company and may include a logo or other graphic design elements prepared by its in-house team.
