New Long Island healthcare facility opens in Hewlett
The Simone Healthcare Development Group recently announced that the Five Towns Medical Group of Mount Sinai has moved into what was formerly a building for Verizon in Hewlett.
The company has redeveloped the site as an ambulatory care center and facility for comprehensive healthcare. Most likely, the Development Group is turning to a variety of printing services to let those in the community become aware of this new offering of services.
The medical personnel and physicians at Mount Sinai Five Towns Medical Group will be able to practice at the Manhattan-based Mount Sinai Hospital and Health System. Among the services offered at the new facility are general medical examinations and preventive care; management of chronic diseases like diabetes, emphysema, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and asthma; and a range of women’s health and ear, nose, and threat services.
There will also be on-site laboratory and radiology services and electronic health recording, so as to ensure health information is safe and can be accessed quickly.
According to the president of Simone Healthcare Development, Guy Leibler, his company began their relationship with Mount Sinai early in their search for a new facility and through every stage of development, which enabled it to find the best site and design and construct a building that met the business’ particular needs.
