Market offers chance for Hewlett residents to meet local artists
Locals can find unique Christmas gifts at the two remaining event days at the Artist Market on Linden.
Shoppers from Hewlett and nearby who are seeking out unique gifts for the people on their lists will want to visit the Artist Market this month, and it still has two more event days left for people to browse the wide variety of creative offerings. Included are clothing and jewelry designers, authors, and soap makers. Refreshments, raffles, and classes offered by the artists are also taking place.
New artists and vendors are still welcome, so they might wish to break out their banners and flyers and contact the sponsor, Innovations Creative Arts, at QueensCenterArts@gmail.com for more information. Table rental fees are $45 for the day and space is limited, so reserve quickly to ensure a spot.
Admission to the fair is free for shoppers and all proceeds from table rentals go to fund the Community Arts Program. The Innovations Creative Arts is a studio that offers a variety of creative skill classes for adults and children. The organization also provides in-school programs for local students.
