Hewlett to hold boot camp for new homeowners
This month, Jamil Jimenez and Devika Maharaj will be holding an educational presentation for new homeowners in Hewlett, New York.
The pair will be offering an informational workshop for those who are trying to buy a house for the first time. The lesson will cover multiple aspects of purchasing a home, such as how people can apply for available grant funds, obtaining a mortgage, and the types of insurance people need as a homeowner. There will also be a home-inspector and insurance broker at the event to help educate guests.
The instructional workshop will give attendees a step-by-step guide through the process of purchasing a house. Organizations that present information to consumers can use brochure printing to create educational pamphlets that guests can bring home, offering people a reference that is easy to carry and store. Brochures can even contain contact details that allow attendees to reach the business if they have any additional questions about the presentation.
The New Home Owner Boot Camp will be held on Thursday, June 27 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Moca Asian Bistro. Registering for the event is free for the public, but only one member per household will be allowed to attend the workshop. The organizers will screen those who register before validating tickets to make sure the event is a good fit for the person applying.
