Hewlett soccer program accepting new players

Children can become part of the Hewlett Lawrence Soccer Club this fall, and join the organization’s intramural and inter-town teams.

Parents interested in putting their children into an athletic program can register for the fall season of soccer offered by the Hewlett Lawrence Soccer Club. The activity is currently accepting kids from preschool up to the third grade. The sessions will involve individual technique training and small-sided scrimmages that develop a better understanding of the game. All sessions will be coached by Paul Kelshaw and his team of trainers.

The Hewlett Lawrence Soccer Club is a nonprofit community group that is a participant in the Long Island Junior Soccer League. It was initially created as an educational organization during the 1960s and has grown to be one of the USA’s most prominent youth soccer leagues. There are over 60,000 kids who play each week in the organization. The goal of the group is to emphasize fun while creating a healthy atmosphere. Sports clubs like this can use printing services to make signs that advertise their upcoming games.

The fall season for soccer will begin in September, with the intramural program starting on September 12 and the inter-town league beginning on September 13. Registration for the intramural program will cost $175, and the uniforms can be purchased for $40. The games will be held at the Franklin Early Childhood Center.
