Hewlett residents invited to free family camp day
Rolling River Day Camp is offering a daylong event to showcase what its programs have to offer.
Families are welcome to learn more about the activities in the Spring Open Play Event offered each year by the camp. There is no obligation to join and those already enrolled in the camp are welcome to take part. The open house is an opportunity for everyone to learn more about the summer camp options in the Hewlett area.
The Spring Open Play will include dancing, bike and tricycle riding and plenty of arts and crafts. Attendees can also play mini golf, softball or spend time on any of the three play areas available at the campground. A snack bar is on site for those that want to spend the day and have lunch.
The information booth will be open for any family members who want to meet the staff of the camp, pick up business cards or brochures to contact the team later, or learn more about the programs the camp has to offer. This is the final open house for the Rolling River Day Camp for the 2018 season.
Enrolled camp members can RSVP to the event through their online camp account. All others can reserve a spot by visiting the Eventbrite website. The open house will be held on Saturday, May 19 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on 477 Ocean Avenue in East Rockaway. There is no admission fee for the event.
