Hewlett foodies to enjoy fundraising evening
With some support, many who have developmental delays can live independent lives, and a Hewlett area fundraiser is set to help make that happen.
The event, which has been dubbed the Evening of Fine Food, will be held at Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows, and both general and VIP admission tickets are available. It will celebrate the area’s culinary community, and several special guests will be honored.
Each of the guests at the function will be treated to an assortment of dishes prepared by the participating chefs. They can mingle with the other attendees, and beverages will be passed as well. Jim Altamore will supply the live entertainment, and a selfie booth, silent auction, and even-split draw will add some extra touches of fun to the occasion.
