Hewlett area to show dad lots of love
Hewlett families who would like to show dad some extra love this Father’s Day are welcome to be among the crowd at a local annual celebration.
The Roosevelt Chamber of Commerce recently invited one and all to be part of the excitement of its upcoming Father's Day Car and Bike Show, which is on the agenda for mid-June. It will be a full day activity, and along with the vehicles on display for the public to view, there will be lots of other fun.
The activity, which will honor the memory of Classic Materials Car Club’s Big Jean Policard, will kick off in the early morning, and the plans for the day include live music and other performances, as well as raffles, small business vendors, and food.
To make it easy for those who are interested to get involved in the day, the organizers have posted the ticket process online, along with the registration fees for cars, motorcycles, and food trucks. Dash plaques and other promotional products for an activity can be sourced from print shops in the local area.
