Hewlett area to host NYPD Guardians luncheon
The NYPD Guardians Association recently released the news that it will be welcoming its membership for a special April event, and it will be taking place at a Hewlett area venue.
The Women of the Guardians Hats and Heels Brunch will be giving those on its guestlist an afternoon to remember. It will combine a group of speakers with a luncheon and a variety of activities, and it is scheduled for Leonard’s Palazzo in Great Neck.
Guests at the function will be able to sit in on remarks by the guest speakers, and everyone is invited to enter into the spirit of the occasion by wearing their favorite pair of heels, as well as a hat or fascinator. Tickets are $95 each, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the organization’s scholarship fund. It is for those age 12 and up, and the wheelchair accessible venue offers free parking on site.
A fraternal organization offers its membership advocacy and camaraderie, as well as support and the opportunity to enjoy social activities. A banner printing company will be pleased to craft custom-designed decor for a fundraiser or other special event.
Now in its third year, this event will be rolled out by the NYPD Guardians Association on Saturday, April 27. It will open its doors at 12:00 noon.
