Hewlett area to enjoy family skate
A Hewlett area program that gives kids a chance to enjoy a variety of after school activities has made plans to host a special roller-skating party, and all area families can take part.
All ages are invited to lace up their skates for an afternoon that will encourage everyone to get active. The skaters will be treated to glow-in-the-dark decor, and everyone who purchases a ticket will receive a glow-in-the-dark promotional product to use.
Those who register for the function are welcome to bring their own roller skates if they have them, although there will be pairs available to rent. Admission starts at $10 each, and there will be games on offer as well. A balloon artist will be performing, and the kids can have their face painted, enjoy cotton candy and popcorn, and also purchase some light refreshments. Masks are required to participate in the event.
