Hewlett area hosts barber battle
Barbering is both a skill and an artform, and a Hewlett area event will see Long Island haircutters go head to head in a friendly competition.
The Long Island Barber Battle will see local barbers put their skills to the test, and this will be accompanied by other activities as well. There are five categories open to competitors, and Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall has been chosen to be the venue for the contest.
The cutters will be able to show off their talents to the spectators, and the competition will run throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Along with this, there will be a pop-up vendor area for small businesses that offer products and services in the haircare sector to set up shop. Prizes will be presented to the top three competitors in each of the categories, and a DJ, cash bar, and food service will round out the festivities.
A contest may garner a lot of attention from the public, which can help a professional to build their customer base. Specially designed corporate gifts that fit into the overall theme of an event can be obtained by contacting a professional print shop.
The Long Island Barber Battle will see haircutters throw down on Sunday, August 11. The excitement will get started at 1:00 pm, and general admission tickets are $30.65. The registration fee for the various categories will depend on which one is chosen.
