Golf tournament to raise money for dementia treatment
The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) will host a golf tournament next month in Hewlett. The event will raise money for those with frontotemporal degeneration, a common form of dementia.
The tournament will take place on a private 18-hole course with a shotgun start. Once the tournament is underway, hospitality stations will give out drinks on certain holes. Breakfast and lunch will also be served at the event before and midway through the tournament, respectively. Following the tournament is a cocktail reception that leads into a dinner party where participants can choose food options from a buffet.
AFTD is also looking for sponsors to help support the event. There are different options to choose from that allow sponsors to have their signage or logo design around the event.
