Hohokus Club offers insight into water gardening
The Ho-ho-kus Garden Club gives those who love home horticulture time when they can come together to learn and connect, and it will be opening its 2026 schedule with an introduction to the joys of gardening with water.
Hohokus residents who always wanted to install a water garden but didn’t know how to get started may find that the "Creating a Water Garden” presentation is one they want to attend. Al Salerno, who is a local subject matter expert, will share his knowledge, and the meeting will run for one and half hours.
The discussion will explore how easy it can be to add a water feature to a property, including how to choose the right site for the pond. Al will explain how there's options for a wide variety of conditions, and tips for plant choice and care will also be on the agenda. Adding koi and other outdoor fish will also be reviewed, and everyone can ask any questions they might have.
Garden and other cubs give those interested in a particular hobby time to learn, connect and enjoy one another's company. A brochure printing company will be happy to design and/or print copies of any handouts required.
