County freeholders have been asking for the Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) to have presence in Flemington and, if all goes according to plan, they may soon get their wish.
According to the President of the Flemington Business Improvement District, two buildings are being investigated as possible sites for the new college location. One is the former county office building, which is located on Pennsylvania Avenue near the veterans’ monument. The other possibility is the structure that was once the home of the Large family, which is situated on Main Street.
The college reports that it is working with the chamber of commerce on the Large site, and is still in the process of determining which site will best suit its current and future needs. This will depend upon what exact use the building will have and what courses will be taught there.
The County Liaison with the RVCC believes it to be good news that the college is planning to open a location within Flemington, as this will provide better opportunities for those who live in the area to access what the college has to offer.
Once the decision has been made as to which site will be used, a Stationery printing firm will be able to provide the college with any printed materials it may need for the new location. Get a Free Quote for Stationery
