Spring is on the way, and in Flemington, that means it’s time for the annual Flemington Elks Lodge Swing Into Spring comedy night.
The organizers have planned an evening that they hope will be fun for everyone who comes out. There will be a buffet dinner, including dessert, as well as drinks. Stand up comedian Don Jamieson will be the featured entertainer, and there will also be performances by Jesse Thomas, Mark Riccadonna and Buddy Harris. Banners and other decorations can be supplied for a fund raising event like this by a Print company.
The tickets for the evening have been priced at $35.00 each, and there will also be a cash bar and an assortment of prizes to be won. The charity of choice for the event is Reins of Life. This non-profit group provides equine-based psychotherapy and other programs for special needs children and adults, veterans and service members coping with PTSD and other mental health issues, at risk youth and many others.
The event, which is being hosted by the community’s Elks Lodge, has been planned for March 18th. The doors will open at 5:30 pm for drinks and dinner, and the comedians will take to the stage at 7:00 pm.
