A lazy mid-August afternoon can be just right for corn on the cob and fresh tomatoes, and these will both be the stars of an upcoming Flemington festival.
The Lawn on Stangl will soon see the arrival of a popular local harvest celebration during which craft beer, corn, and tomatoes will all be on the menu. Many farmers from across the state will be setting up shop, and it will be the sixth year for this popular activity
Along with the booths in the farmers’ market-style area, a selection of craft vendors and other makers will be on hand, and live bands are on the list to perform. The kids can enjoy the fun planned with them in mind, and the festivities are expected to draw a crowd of thousands of visitors. Everyone can spread out a blanket or unfold their chair in a shady spot so they can sit back and relax.
Local companies are welcome to submit an application to take part as a vendor and take advantage of the event’s significant footfall. Business card printing and other services for a special event can be accessed at local Print shops.
The 6th annual Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival will be celebrating summer on Saturday, August 12. It will be kicking off for the day at 12:00 pm.
